Brighton seem set to continue their shrewd summer business as they look set to sign a further two players over the next few days.
Having already brought in Joao Pedro, Bart Verbruggen, James Milner, Mahmoud Dahoud and Adrian Mazilu, the Seagulls look set for more.
With the departure of Levi Colwill following his loan, a centre-back has been hotly tipped as the Amex side’s top priority.
They additionally are always on the lookout for promising young talents. These two areas are exactly what they are targeting now.
As Igor Julio from Fiorentina looks set to join so does Preston teen Jacob Slater in a double swoop for the Seagulls.

Igor confirmation expect
Brighton are expected to confirm the signing of Igor as he underwent and passed a medical yesterday for the south coast side as reported by Mail Online.
Igor was involved in Fiorentina’s Europa Conference League defeat to West Ham last season in the final as he came off the bench.
He made 42 appearances in all competitions for I Viola last season and clearly made an impression on Brighton bosses.
A deal is expected to cost around £15million for the Brazilian defender, in a move which plugs the gap left by Colwill this summer.
Deal close for Jacob Slater
18-year-old Preston ace, Slater has previously been described as a ‘phenomenal’ talent by Lilywhites manager Ryan Lowe.
He signed his first professional deal last September and went on to make his senior bow not long after.
The left-back/left-midfielder made three senior appearances last term, with two in the EFL Cup and one in the Championship.
Clearly he is a player with a bright future, and where better than Brighton to reach that potential.
