According to reports Brighton and Hove Albion are close to losing Moises Caicedo to Chelsea with talks progressing.
Fabrizio Romano tweeted that the two clubs are currently discussing the fixed fee that will be required to get the deal over the line.
Caicedo has been the biggest transfer story of the summer, with a rumoured £100million move being mentioned.
It is believed that the two sides are locked in verbal negotiations regarding the player, who Chelsea view as a top target.
The Express consider Caicedo a ‘long admired’ player within the Chelsea board who see him as a real statement signing.

The deal has been dragging on which is a nightmare for Brighton who would hope to conclude a deal sooner than later – giving ample time to source a replacement.
Deal for Caicedo moving closer
Brighton have done well to stick to their valuation and look set to receive at least close to £100m if they do in fact sell the Ecuadorian. A fee that Roberto Di Zerbi is probably more than willing to accept for his star player.
It does appear that a move id becoming more likely, with Romano claiming that the deal is heading in the right direction after weeks of uncertainty.
He tweeted, “Understand Moisés Caicedo deal is now ‘moving’ between Chelsea and Brighton. The two clubs are discussing amount of fixed fee, £70m not enough.
“Deal will 100% also include add-ons. Negotiations continue to find a solution as soon as possible.”
Brighton may also be looking to recieve a player in exchange with reported interest in Conor Gallagher and also defender Levi Colwill who Chelsea are unlikely to let go.
In any event, it appears Caicedo will be on the move soon with an agreement being strived for by all parties.
