Brighton and Hove Albion have released their new away kit for the 2023-24 season, and it bares a resemblance to Roberto Di Zerbi’s old club.

The Seagulls today announced their new away shirt, which they will take on their European nights next season.

It is Brighton’s first ever European competition, when they enter the Europa League in September.

It follows on from their amazing season under Di Zerbi which saw a sixth place finish, along with some of the leagues best football.

It also saw a plethora of stars emerge making Brighton the holders of some of the world’s most in demand players.

Di Zerbi facilitated the rise of; Kaoru Mitoma, Julio Enciso, Evan Ferguson, Pervis Estupinan and Levi Colwill into some of the best in their positions.

The Seagulls will be hoping this shirt is one remembered fondly in the coming years, by putting in another great season this time in green and black.

The shirt will be a nostalgia hit for Di Zerbi for one huge reason, which is that he has managed green and black sides before.

Brighton’s new away kit

Brighton’s new away kit is seemingly inspired by Di Zebra’s former club, Sassuolo.

‘I Neroverdi’ as they are known in Italy which effectively means ‘The Black and Greens’. This coming just a season after Di Zerbi joined, it could be a coincidence, but we think not.

Here is the new Brighton shirt…

It is a kit which will have Di Zerbi thinking he has teleported back to 2021.

However despite the jokes that have been made regarding it’s similarities, it is a really nice kit.

It is a kit which is imaginable in a European away tie setting and the added bonus, Di Zerbi will be right at home in the green and black.

If you like the kit and way to buy it, you can find the club website here.
