Yasin Ayari opened his Coventry City account against Huddersfield with a goal he didn’t know much about.
The 19-year-old Swede has been impressive since he joined Coventry on loan in the summer.
Brighton chiefs will have been encouraged with what they’ve seen from him thus far.
Given he was signed with a vast amount of potential, he is now showing signs of this talent in English football as he slowly becomes a regular for Coventry.
Signed for nearly £3.5 million last season, Ayari has high expectations placed on him and what he can do.

Ayari scores for Coventry
Although he didn’t know much about it, his knack for being in the right place and positioning IQ has on show in the 1-1 draw.
Ellis Simms manufactured the goal as he cut inside onto his right foot before hitting the bar.
The rebound then came back and hit an unaware Ayari to find the net with the keeper already beaten.
Not a great goal all things considered, but one which he will take regardless.
Ayari’s season to date
Ayari has made five appearances so far this season, but only two starts.
Despite this he has began to impress, with a rating on average of 7.2/10 via SofaScore.
On-top of his goal, he has now created two big chances as well, and he averages 1.8 key passes per 90.
A really promising start to a season which is very important for the youngster.
