Brighton and Hove Albion are reportedly interested in signing VfB Stuttgart youngster Raul Paula with competition from the Premier League.
At just 19-years-old, Raul Paula is attracting interest from two of England’s biggest.
He currently plies his trade for Stuttgart’s second team in the fourth tier of German football, but has impressed.
With six goals and an assist in nine games this season in the Regionalliga Südwest it is easy to see why he’s grabbing attention.
Given the Brighton set-up’s track record of signing top quality prospects, it isn’t surprising to see other clubs join the race which is the case here with Liverpool.

Brighton and Liverpool want Paula
It is according to the Guardian’s Ed Aarons that Liverpool have joined Brighton in their tracking of the 19-year-old wonderkid.
He has represented Germany at under 18 level and could soon find himself moving to the worlds biggest league.
Liverpool are known to like the German market due to Jurgen Klopp’s influence, and they would welcome the exciting arrival of Paula.
But in this situation it is hard to see a scenario that Brighton miss out if they really want him.
Brighton are the best club in the world for a young player to go to right now, and he would regret not moving to the Amex.
Working under the talented coaches at Brighton, and most important Roberto De Zerbi would be huge for any youngster.
Not to mention their hit record is unheard of as time after time they get it right with young talents signed.
