Brighton have once again seen their offer for Derby defender Eiran Cashin rejected this summer.
Brighton and talented youngsters are two things which have become synonymous with each other in recent years.
It is a transfer policy which has been largely successful for the Seagulls, given their rise up the table.
Now with their latest batch of world-beaters gone, they will be turning their attentions to the next generation.
A generation which Brighton chiefs seem adamant, involves Derby’s young defender Eiran Cashin.
Brighton have been chasing the 21-year-old all summer which is a testament to his quality.

Brighton rebuffed for Cashin… again
Brighton’s interest in Cashin is substantial, with John Percy from the Telegraph reporting multiple bids have been rejected.
He claims Brighton have seen at least four bids rejected this summer by the Rams for the talented young defender.
Brighton remain interested in completing a move for Cashin before the deadline however Derby are said to be expectant of a fee above £3million.
They also are insisting any deal for Cashin will include him remaining at Pride Park on-loan for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.
Is he good enough?
This question itself is hard to answer when Brighton make a signing, as few of their acquisitions are deemed good enough by the media on arrival.
Often they are signing players who are uncut gems that require the fine tuning which Roberto De Zerbi gives them to become the players they potentially could be.
Cashin is in the bracket of being a good player, but relatively untested at a high level which means he will require some tutorship.
However it is undoubted that he has the potential to be an absolute star for Brighton, especially given the track record.
