Who is Fabricio Díaz?
Diaz is a name that has been on the lips of many knowledgeable football fans for years, but he now seems set to make the big jump to Europe.
A hugely successful year with Uruguay under-20 which saw him achieve gold in the World Cup, he is now set to leave Uruguay with Europes pull too strong.
Diaz’s ‘dazzling‘ performances for Uruguay has made a move inevitable and has many thinking he is the next big thing.
His most remarkable quality is his leadership at such a young age, he has been one of his clubs captains for three years already, and his a leader in the city of Montevideo.
Diaz is brilliant on the ball, capable of a top-class pass to find his teammates but also is a competent dribbler.
He is all-round too, and can take part in attack or defence really he is all-action and would be perfect for the Premier League.
A really shrewd and excellent signing from Brighton, one which could be their next superstar in waiting.
