Aaron Connolly has ended his seven-year stay at Brighton and Hove Albion, after joining Championship side Hull City for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old made 45 first-team appearances for the Seagulls scoring five, including a double against Tottenham on his first Premier League start.
Connolly, who is rumoured to earn around £23,000 a week, failed to maintain the heights he hit back in the 2019/20 season and has since had loan spells at Middlesbrough and Venezia.
The Irish forward spent the second half of last season on loan at Hull City where he made five appearances scoring twice, in what was an injury-hit six-month spell.
However, his short spell at the KCOM stadium impressed boss Liam Rosenior enough to make the deal permanent, with Connolly penning a one-year contract.

What does the future hold for Aaron Connolly?
Tigers boss Rosenior was keen on a reunion with the Ireland international forward and spoke of his delight in completing the transfer.
“He showed in the short time the impact he can have on not just the team, but the group,” said Rosenior to Hull City’s club website.
“He wants to be here and show his true worth. I can’t wait to get him fit and for him to fulfil his potential.
“He’s not on loan; Aaron’s one of us now. That’s going to be important for Aaron as well and I’m delighted he’s going to be part of us.”
Although he has struggled with injuries, he has shown glimpses of his quality under Rosenior at the Tigers.
The 39-year-old boss is a great coach who knows how to get the best of his youngsters, something which Connolly desperately needs in order to get his career back on the right path.
