Manchester City are interested in signing Brighton’s star striker Evan Ferguson,
According to iNews, Manchester City have been keeping an eye on Ferguson, but it is unknown when a move may be made for him.
Ferguson has started the season in exhilarating form, scoring four goals in the opening four games of the Premier League.
This includes scoring a hat-trick in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Newcastle United, which has seen Brighton go into the September international break sat in sixth place.
Would Evan Ferguson joining Man City be good for his career?

Ferguson joined Brighton in January 2022, joining from his native Bohemians. He only made three appearances for the Irish side across two seasons, scoring once.
The Seagulls still saw enough in Ferguson to bring in him over to the south coast, and he has been a revelation.
He has however had to pull out of the Republic of Ireland squad for the upcoming international break due to a knee injury he picked up against Newcastle, however it is not thought to be a long-term problem.
Ferguson has also recently been nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award, with the likes of Haaland, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli also being nominated.
It would be a massive struggle for City to give Ferguson the game time he rightfully deserves, with Ballon D’or nominee Erling Haaland starting upfront for the champions of Europe.
He needs to be playing regular Premier League football if he is to fulfil is enormous potential, with many tipping him to go on to be one of the best strikers in world football in a few years time.
