Three changes to maintain 100% record: Brighton predicted XI vs West Ham

Brighton have began the season with back-to-back high scoring 4-1 victories which puts them top of the table.

Roberto De Zerbi has seen his team look a level above everyone this season this far, as they lead the pack after two games.

While Manchester City and Arsenal are also on a 100% record, Brighton‘s free scoring form has elevated them above.

While early, Brighton seriously look good enough to challenge for top four this season, and maybe even the title.

Brighton will come up against a resurgent West Ham side on Saturday, who are coming off an impressive win of their own.

West Ham welcomed Chelsea to the London Stadium last weekend where they ran out 3-1 winners showing the departure of Declan Rice might’ve been a good thing.

But how will De Zerbi line-up his side to maintain their top position?

De Zerbi will have to make some changes to his squad ahead of the West Ham game at the Amex.

One position we don’t see changing is Jason Steele’s goalkeeper position.

Despite the signing of Bart Verbruggen, it is clear that De Zerbi isn’t keen on throwing him in early.

Defensively we know Pervis Estupinan will continue at left-back given his immaculate displays thus far.

Alongside him in defence will be Lewis Dunk, Adam Webster and James Milner at right-back.

In midfield, we would like to see Mahmoud Dahoud start in place of Pascal Gross given his impressive display last week.

Next to him Billy Gilmour deserves to continue his strong start to the season.

Behind the striker Kaoru Mitoma and Solly March should start on either wing, both were incredible last weekend.

Then in the 10 position, Julio Enciso is injured and won’t be able to continue in the role despite a brilliant performance.

Therefore we expect Joao Pedro to take his place as an attacking midfielder slash second striker.

Then up-front we think it is time Evan Ferguson gets the chance to start multiple games back to back.

Danny Welbeck showed last time out that he might be slowing down, so unleash the Irishman.

Brighton predicted XI: Steele; Milner, Webster, Dunk, Estupinan; Dahoud, Gilmour; March, Pedro, Mitoma; Ferguson.
