Brighton are still keen to bring Irish defender Eiran Cashin to the club, despite being in talks all summer over a deal.
Brighton as we all know are always on the lookout for potential new signings who have bags of potential.
When they fix their sights on a young talent it is almost guaranteed at this stage, they are a top talent.
This due to their magnificent track record which has seen the club time and time again get it right, buying incredible youngsters.
So now they seem to have been headhunting someone they see as the ideal defender to make the step-up and become quality.
The status of this player however will come as a surprise, given it is League One Derby’s Eiran Cashin.

Brighton still want Cashin
Cashin has been on the agenda for Brighton all summer long, with earlier reports suggesting that several bids had been refused by Derby already.
This demonstrates how bad Brighton want Cashin and how highly they rate him too.
Now according to The Telegraph, Brighton are still keen on signing the 21-year-old.
The report claims talks are ongoing over a deal following the Irishman’s eye-catching breakout year at Derby.
It is added that his performances have gave Brighton scouts reason to believe that he can make the step-up to Premier League football.
Cashin is in the final year of his contract with Derby, although they would be entitled to solidarity payments if he moved as a free-agent next summer.
It however is a move Brighton definitely could complete if they really wanted to.
