Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari has joined Coventry City on loan.
Ayari has joined the Championship side on a season-long loan in what will be his first temporary move away from Brighton since his move in January.
“England is good,” Ayari said to Coventry’s club website. “The Premier League is the best in the world, so this is the best place to develop and play football.
“I’ve decided to come on loan to Coventry because I think it’s the right move for me to develop and become a better player.”
When explaining why he signed Ayari, Coventry manager Mark Robins said: “He is a versatile player who can play across the midfield area, but predominantly central, and is technically adept too with pace and energy.”
Is this a good move for Yasin Ayari?

Ayari joined Brighton in January from Swedish side AIK on a four-and-a-half-year deal, believed to be for a fee of around £3.5 million.
He is a Sweden international, making his debut for the senior team against Finland in January, and can also play on the left and right side of midfield.
He has made three Premier League appearances for the Seagulls last season, including a start against Aston Villa in May. He was given his Brighton debut in January in an FA Cup win over Grimsby Town.!
With Brighton having plenty of midfield options with the likes of new signings James Milner and Mahmoud Dahoud, and Adam Lallana, Billy Gilmour and Pascal Groß also fighting for a starting spot, there would have not been a place in the squad for Ayari.
Brighton are also looking to add to their midfield after the loss of Moises Caicedo to Chelsea for a record deal of £115 million. They have been linked with looking for a replacement for Caicedo, with Lille’s Carlos Baleba and Liverpool Montevideo’s Fabricio Díaz being targeted.
